Bangkok: Bosch Security Systems Thailand has recently been awarded security and safety projects from a variety of industrial sectors, indicating that the market demand for high quality, innovative and professional solutions is increasing. 

Mr. Samarn Takort, General Manager of Security Systems Division, Robert Bosch Thailand, revealed that in spite of some economic uncertainties, the security systems market is showing some positive signs.  Market Growth is being driven primarily by infrastructure projects for public safety and property protection.  In particular, awareness of security has increased in the retail sector, and market demand for intrusion alarms and CCTV systems is steadily rising.  This is especially noticeable in installations for private homes and retail outlets.

 “We will continue to educate customers on our new technologies in our key markets; transportation, government and city surveillance. Our significant strength lies with our strong project sales force, and we will closely cooperate with our highly qualified Bosch Security Certified Partners (BSCPs) to ensure that they are equipped with the latest product information and training.” said Mr. Samarn.

The Security Systems division has continuously developed innovative technologies and has launched high quality products and systems to the market.  The Bosch Extreme range was recently introduced in Thailand and offers products such as the underwater camera, the IR camera and license plate capture.   Other product launches includes IP technology for CCTV and Bosch FireNet with the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standard.  To improve its position further, Bosch will also focus on its after-sales services, which is a critical success factor in customer satisfaction.  “We have a comprehensive range of security systems, which enables Bosch to design and provide an optimal security solution that fits the customer’s requirements and budget.  We are truly a one-stop solution provider of security, safety and communications.” added Mr. Samarn.

Currently, the product portfolio of the Bosch Security Systems Division can be divided into two main groups.  The security and safety group includes CCTV, intrusion alarms, access control systems, fire alarms, and evacuation systems.  The communications systems group includes professional sound systems, public address and conference systems.  Bosch’s impressive list of customers, both public and private, includes the Prince of Songkla University International Convention Center, German Tawan Daeng Beer House and Phuket Beer House.
